Why is Ferrer underdog to Gulbis?

Ferrer been struggling through matches. He got the free pass the last round due to opponent injury so he is a little more rested than Gulbis. I also think he had a 1st round bye so he has gotten to this round by doing nothing which inflates that he has been playing well when he hasn't

Gulbis was 90% to win there. He fell apart. But much better player to that point. (odds 1.1 at betfair live betting)
