How is it that a line sometimes shows little movement when the vast majority of the public is on one side? For instance today, Providence and USF open at a PK, 86% of the early money is on Providence, yet the line is still PK. Are the oddsmakers just keeping it at a line they like? Do the minority bettors (those playing USF) include a lot of well respected cappers? Do the trends reflect percentage of bettors rather than percentage of money?
Any info is appreciated....thanks.
