it was a 10-0 game late in the 2nd qtr and points were gona be hard to come by? the new school dont think like that though really. you could make a case either way. it was a full yard, not like a half yard or somethin like that.

3 points, take the lead, if you don't make it you get nothing. Maybe you know your line gets blown off the ball and it generally hard to throw the ball when everyone can bunch up and not worry about getting beat. I'm not against going for it on 4th and 1 in scenarios but acting like it makes no sense to ever kick it in the first half just makes you sound like you don't know what your talking about.

even if your line gets knocked back, it probably only takes a broken tackle from your RB to score 7. Like I said, UNLESS YOU KNOW IT IS WORSE THAN A 50-50 PROPOSITION, you always go for it
