Duran has the BS excuse that his trainer said, " No Mas" and he just waved his hands to stop the fight. There were enough people around that ring that heard Duran say, "No Mas" and looking at the video you can see he said something. Sugar Ray Leonard was the best boxer ever.

met duran out in vegas ...cool guy....

i wasnt even a year old at the time of the rematch.....but in learning the history of it....i recall duran had issues with putting on alot of weight and losing it dramatically....and apparently was partying alot after his win over leonard....ive heard he shed something like 15lbs in two weeks before the fight which isnt good...and heard at one point after the brawl in montreal he was up around 200 lbs....he was pretty carefree and had "made it" and leonard knew if he got an immediate rematch he might not be facing the same guy....duran claims after the weigh in he went crazy eating and was near having to "shit" on his stool
