I give Foles credit, so far he's played a solid game - I think it's probably one of the best called games by Chip so far although I think they need to run a bit more.

Plus seems to be that they are not running the offense at the Oregon speed, they are taking a bit more time at times to run plays. Foles is also spreading the ball around better than Vick normally does. Cooper with multiple catches? Ertz and Celek utilized. I think that is part of the problem with Vick as QB and that's faulty game planning by Chip ... but he seems to want to run the Oregon speed when Vick is QB and I think it's led to a worn out O-line and some faulty drives.

This is the 1st game where I think Chip has looked like a competent NFL coach from the beginning to this point. Milking clock like you should. Mixing run in better in the 2nd half. Easily his best coached game at this point. Of course it is Schiano on the other side ...

His first start for Arizona came in the 2nd half of a game @ Iowa - because he couldn't beat out the guy in front of him (also a running QB). Guy comes in 2nd half and damn near wins the game. Turns around, looks like dogshit in practice then goes out and lights it up in the next game. Some guys are just gamers.

They both do different things at QB. Like I said, let's see Chip call this sort of game for Vick ... he hasn't necessarily given him the best game plans to work with. Foles was granted the best Chip called game of the season.
