I didn't really follow hockey much until recently, but wow that Russian team has some players. How is kovulchuk (sp?) doing over there in Russia? Would he be a top 20 player in the nhl right now?

it's really hard to predict these things, because you don't see these guys play together for 4 years...I like Russia's chances not just because we have good players, but because we're playing at home and that's a huge advantage imo. Our defense is mediocre though.
Canada and Sweden could probably win it also.
