Another Classic example of a public trap game.
    Utah and Golden State.

Utah obviously being the better team with the better record etc etc. Obviously golden state has been playing better with the return of montay ellis but thats irrelevant. Bottom line is that utah is the much better team and what are most people's thinking going to be on this game?

Their thought process is going to be the jazz only 1 point favorites vs the warriors?! THATS A STEAL AND A HALF, When in reality you money is getting stolen 55% of the time on these games or more.

So you've got say 65-70% of the public in these situations on the jazz with a lets say 40-45% chance of winning @ -110. Classic reason why the books win because the average bettor's thinking is OMG this line is way off i'm going to putt a HUGE bet in tonight on this jazz team when in reality the books love that you are betting into that line. This is especially true when the line opens up at jazz -1 and everyone and their mother is on the jazz but the line stays the same regardless of the fact that more than 50% of the public is on that side.

If you don't respect the oddsmakers lines especially when a good team is playing a team who lost to the wizards a few weeks back, you will be burried.

40-45% long term at -110 is JJgold 5th bank loan material.

For your sake I hope you took GSW tonight regardless of the result.

utah is bad on the road, anyoen who bets presumably knows that
they are taking the risk that utah can win this particular road game. utah was a very slight fave so i dont know if utah bettors got trapped, besides it aint over

I see 59% on the Jazz...close enough to round up to 65-70 for sure. I'll take a 40-45% winning rate any day of the week...my ultimate goal is to get myself to 40% overall between all the sports.

Result doesn't matter. Long term when these type of shady lines arise which is a classic example of the oddsmakers knowing more than you do, GSW will make you profit long term in this situation.

Lines like this all yr round, if you can sniff them out regularly then you will win money regularly. Cause I do quite good doing this all yr round in alot of sports and do quite well
If it seems to good to be true it usually is!!

I have a natural instinct to exploit market ineffieciencies!!

the people who bet utah on the road simply needed to go to utahs home page and check out their road record
                      it wasnt some tough pick

Warriors are a lot better now that they are healthy. Smoke a bowl.

true but if you did your homework you would know Utah is 2-11 and 1-12 AST playing back to backs so GS was the right bet

Patty the stiff is the best post-game capper along with Dacviet.

Some of us actually had GS prior to tipoff.
