does anyone do live betting at wsex?
now i understand how it works, but when you place a order is it filled , if it cant be filled will it be cancelled or pending?

    Series Name--------Sell Buy
    FLORIDA STATE +3.5 27 32 +212
    MIAMI ----------3.5 68 73 -270

for example if i decided to buy florida st @3.5 for $32

what happens next? will it be filled right away? if it cant be filled what happens..........i mean how do i know if there is a market there or not?

I'm 99% sure that unfilled orders are cancelled.

      scottyy11,

I have some experience with this. The answer to your question is this: lets say you want to buy 5 shares @ $32. If the market exists and you ask to buy 5 shares @ $32 (Total of $160), they will fill the order. If the market doesn't exist or part of it does, they will fill it with 0-4 shares. The price will undoubtedly change from the time you request to fill an order. So, you get what you get at the time of your request. If you get 3 shares and you still need to get 2 more shares, the price may drop or go up depending upon where the game sits at the time of the buy.

My experience tells me that, if you are trying to scalp or hedge your original bet, trying to cover a bet with more than 10 shares is a tough thing to do. About 10 shares is the maximum which should, essentially, scalp or hedge a $500 bet.
That's not to say that you can't buy more than 10 shares at a time. WSEX does have that option. Just in my experience, I find that more than 10 shares at a time is tough to do.

      I hope that helps.

The unfilled portion is cancelled. It's no different than placing a max bet on Pinnacle except you don't know what the limit is.
