You should be worried about the Penguins.

Not that its unusual for the team that loses in the cup final to not make the playoffs the following season.

I could care less about who makes the playoffs in the East because Boston or Philly will be in the finals.

I am worried, but they aren't in a playoff spot right now, so they can't really fall out.

Although I still think the Pens make the playoffs. Carolina isn't very good. Buffalo and Florida are marginally better. The Rangers, Philly, and Montreal aren't safe where they are at. They called up their top prospect, Luca Caputi, a few games ago, seems just like your type of player plommer, I think he is from Toronto as well.

I don't know how anyone can be so confident in this team, they started out strong but they give no indication they have what it takes to get the job done.

            Heartless.

Plommer they will make they playoffs, I have feeling in a couple weeks Montreal will 5 or 6 in a row and Nicky will be yapping about a parade, but the bottom line they are not constructed to win multiple playoff series.

I agree with that. I could see them beating Florida because of the experience factor. Carolina and the Rangers because they are just a better team than those two.

The question have about Florida is what are they going to do about Bouwmeester at the trade deadline. He is set to be an UFA, can they afford not to get something for him?

Interesting, Montreal have been beaten by so called "bad teams" like Tampa and Toronto (twice) at home and are not better on the road, not lately anyway.

I can't figure out Carolina, they look like garbage, then go on to beat very good teams on the road.

I'm dead serious about the habs and the possibility they miss the post season, the good news is they aren't capable of beating Boston or Jersey in the playoffs.

As you can tell, I hate the habs, I enjoy when they lose.

When my Leafs are out of the playoffs I can cheer for any Canadian team but the habs. I like cheering for Edmonton especially.

If they are close they have to go for it and keep him. Making the playoffs would do a lot to energize that fan base. And they could always deal him before free agency for a couple of picks, so a team had a few days to negotiate with him exclusively.

Me neither, they aren't a very good team.

I like Edmonton, love Hemsky. Kind of like Vancouver as well.

it's not a matter of heart. They won't go to the Stanley Cup Finals, I'm sure.

It's a matter of looking at their positioning now and their remaining schedule.

I would bet they'll make the playoffs.
