Matt Riddle b Steve Bruno. In only his second pro fight, the TUF star used superior strength to win the second and third round to take a straight 29-28 decision. Riddle has star charisma.

Nick Catone vs. Derek Downey
Downey pressing the action and took Catone down. Catone with a reverse and front headlock. Catone with some body punches. Downey up and going for a takedown. Catone turned and got Downey down and threw some elbows. Catone has side control. He's got ahead scissors briefly. Now has Downey's back and punching. On top with elbows to the head and punches to the faceace. Now has a choke in but Downey out. Catone with another takedown late. Throwing short elbows. Downey's head has a sick hematoma. Catone 10-9.
Edith the ring girl is really over in Tampa.
Downey shot right in and got stuffed. As he got up, Catone with knees to the head. Catone then bulldozed him down and throwing short elbows and punches. Catone tapped him with a wristlock.

Rich Clementi vs. Gleison Tibau
Tibau came out to the Road Warriors music. This is Clementi's 55th pro fight. Tibau took him right down and got his back. Tibau looks big for the class. Has to be 175. He took Clementi down and Clement back up and they traded. Tibau put out his glove and smiled and Clementi would't' touch gloves. Tibau rocked him right a right and took Clementi down. Passed to mount. Clementi turned his back to escape, then turend back. Clementi regained half guard. Tibau trying to pass. He passed, threw some punches and Clementi regaiend his guard. Mostly a position match. Tibau to side mount, got his back and Clementi back up. Tibau grabbed a guillotine as Clementi went for the takedown and finished him.

Matt Grice vs. Matt Veach is next
Veach is the first student from the Matt Hughes/Robbie Lawler gym in St. Louis to make it to UFC. Grice is a former Oklahoma wrestler. Both former Division I wrestlers, Veach for Eastern Illinois. Grice just graduated from the police academy. Veach with a flurry of punches and got on top. Body punches By Veach. Grice active from the bottom punching and moving. Veach coming out really fast. Beauctiful front headlock takedown by Grice but Veach escaped. Hard punch by Veach. Grice back and knocked Veach down with a punch and pounding on him. Scored with big punches on the ground. Veach's head is a target. Grice wth full mount. Both guys paused because this was so fast paced up to this point. Grice back with a mount. Grice tried guillotine and Veach escaped and now on top. 90 seconds left. Both up. Grice connected with a left. Grice with an uppercut . Veach back with few punches. Trading. Grice with a knee. Wild swinging and Veach dropped Grice with a right to the jaw and now pounding him. Ref stopped it with seconds left in the round. Great fight. Grice furious it was stopped. By the way, stoppage was way early. Hopefully this fight will make the air because it was a good one.
Veach said when he was decked said he was afraid the ref would stop it because he was out. Crowd thought it was stopped early. Joe Rogan asked Veach if he thought it was stopped early and Veach said he didn't want to judge. That's carny for yes.
At this point there looks to be 7,000 plus in an 8,000-seat set-up.

Jake Rosholt vs. Dan Miller
Rosholt cut his hair. Hopefully that helps him see the punches coming. This is Rosholt's toughest match to date by far. Rosholt got the biggest reaction so far. Miller nailed Rosholt with a knee. Roshotl took him down. Miller went for an anle lock but Rosholt escaped. Miller with a D'arce choke and it's over.

Rob Emerson vs. Kurt Pellegrino next.
Trading. Low kick by Emerson. Takedown by Emerson. High kick by Emnreson blocked by Pellegrino. Emerson with a second takedown. Emerson 10-9.
Pellegrino out first with a few punches. Good high kick by Emerson. Emerson with a lot of low kicks. Now Pellegrino going for a takedown but Emerson blocking. Tried a fireman's carry, Emerson slipped away but Pellegrino with a hard slam. Pellegrino got a mount and now has Emerosn's back and choked him out.
