Anybody who bets 5 figures and up without POSTING A TICKET is an air bettor in my opinion.

If Charles Barkley or Michael Jordan posts plays in here putting down $100,000 on a basketball game that is fine, but if he does mention a monetary figure like that in a thread be prepared to post the ticket or be considered an air-betting clown.

I personally don't give a fukk what anyone here or anywhere else is betting...What I bet is my personal business and if I decided to share the actual amount, I do it for the sake of the information on how confident I'm with that particular bet-- nothing more than that.

Why are you guys still losing sleep over what others are betting is truly mind boggling to me...

An airbettor is extremely easy to spot - laker nazi loving clown is one of them. I don't doubt that the guy bets 1-2K on a game here and there on occasion, but I mean does anyone here would really believe that he blew 100K on NBA finals? Of course not.

Real degens I mean bettors like 99.9% of us on this forum.....deposit and either go to the casino or don't practice money management and blow our load within minutes.hours.a few weeks and then reload again. Sure you may run good and last a few months but the reality is (FROM MY EXPERIENCE) we all bust our nuts way to prematurely.

Personally I don't enter all of my plays on a spreadsheet and never plan on doing it in a future---they do have simple software nowadays to manage those things for ya.

What I had and still have is a simple spreadsheet of only the soccer plays that I make.
Solely for the sharing with others sake I found that it's a lot easier to track my soccer bets in Excel format rather than post individual plays here in there in different threads.

Bankroll management is important and you would be surprised how many guys here are actually doing well with it. It's not a big chunk of posters, but it's a lot more than 0.1%.

but regardless of all that - I would take a losing guy with a spreadsheet or a table of plays over winning guy with plays in 20 different threads on any given day.

I do wanna add that I have no doubt that some here are very very disciplined mofo's. Im sure I could give them a 100 bucks and they would bet a dollar to two dollars religiously and grind away. Like in poker some cats have 20k bankroll but they are content with grinding 1c 2c nl and working up. Mad respect to those guys but they are the miniority. THE REAL HUSTLERS in my opinion and the pulse of the betting world (most here at sbr) are the ones that shoot for the penetrating stars (rap videos platinum grills) and overbet everything to ride the high. We are what keeps the sharks eating.

You can track picks in a spreadsheet or in a single thread by updating your own record - but most people are too lazy or stop tracking when they get buried because they don't want people to know they suck. Or in the case of the usual scumbags on SBR, start deleting picks from their spreadsheet.

I don't know why people make a big deal out of "air" betting ... a winner is a winner. If someone has to lie about how much money they lay down on a bet to make themselves look or feel like a big shot, that's their stupid ass prerogative.
