I know you know your EPL...so, I'd appreciate your insights.

1. Man City, middle of the pack EPL side, is only 1-4-6 on the road. Middlesbrough, while clearly not very good, has been at least competitive at home, 3-5-4. Middlesbrough would seem to have more to play for. Why do you like Man City?

2. Blackburn plays a lot of draws on the road. Aston plays a lot of draws at home. Any value in putting a few buck on a draw here?

3. Chelsea has been a sterling 8-2-2 on the road. Hull City a very pedestrian 3-3-6 at home. Is Chelsea a good bet as a side?

To answer your questions:

1. Middlesbrough hasn't won on the road since early November. They beat Man City 8-1 last year and this is a revenge game for City.

2. Aston Villa scored 1 goal in their last two games. The weather in Engand is horrible with snow and frigid temperatures not ideal for high scoring goal fests.

3. Chelsea hasn't scored 4 goals at home in a long time. The defense is good but they have trouble breaking packed defenses and midfield at home. Also the cold weather will not aid the over.

2. Why do you like West Brom in the over if the weather isnt conducive to overs?

1. I expect a 1-0 or 2-0 home win and yes I don't expect Hull to score.

2. West Brom and Newcastle are horrible on defense and their games have been overs lately. They are both in the relegation battle and the draw is not an option. If both score they will go for the win and not settle for 1-1 draw. The weather is a factor but with bad defenses it may be irrelevant.
