i think tampons present a tougher match for sox simply cause of their pitching, although sox former skipper who was unjustly blamed for what went down in bos makes for a interesting scenario...

Salazar a good pitcher and pitching coaches has help him rely on other pitches besides his fastball...but this playoff baseball when the strike zone gets tight. If he cant locate and rays get runners via hits or walk..some meatballs will come down the plate for rays

same here i called the first two games also. and im on tampa today. they are the better team. they won in arlington and are road warriors. they have the better pitcher with cobb on the mound. cleveland's lineup is def. potent but unlike the pirates their post season dream comes to an end tonight.

ML and RL are both good bets. i believe in their last 10 matchups only 1 has had a 1 run differential.

they just look at their winning streak and think they can just roll over tampa.

guess what folks, tampa killed one of the hottest teams, texas, at their home.

what makes you think they can't do it in cleveland?

it's baseball so anything can happen but i'm going with tampa for a unit.

actually his metrics are are awful.

over his last five starts he's got a 33% GB rate, a horrific 30% line drive rate and 38% fly ball rate. Salazar relies on Ks and the Rays are not a strike out team(10th fewest in the league).

if this kid get lets nerves get the best of him of starts walking people, Cleveland could get behind a few runs early.

I'm also leaning TB here aswell, Cobb looked fantastic down the stretch - against solid teams aswell. And although it was awhile ago, and perhaps not as relevant he dominated this Clev. lineup. TB has already demonstrated they can win on the road, Longoria mashing, contributions from all batters too. They have experienced a playoff environ. alrdy, and traveled, I think they'll start off fast again like they did in Texas. I know Clev. was hot but they faced the likes of Houston, CHIW, and Minnesota, just my two cents, but I think Clev. is in a let-down spot here. I know Salazar has some good stuff, but he's also a rookie, and this TB lineup can hit the fastball w/ the best of them. Tough game to accurately cap however with a lineup facing for the first time but that goes without saying..
