how hard is it to get a job a sportsbook out there?

do those guys make good money?

I want to move to Vegas man , i just need to find a job out there first.

any advice / recommendations?

i got a little sales experience and some common sense but that is about all i got credential wise

There is no SALE EXPERIENCE needed to be a teller at the books BB. Being a teller is simple once you get down the basics of taking racebook wagers, that's probably a bit complicated outta the gate with those old school fukks busting your balls.
Just can't have a record pretty much.
Tellers probably don't make much, I'd guess around $12 n hour or so to start? Plus tips?

So maybe 15 n hour? I've never really asked any of em.
But I can check it out for you.
I work tonight, I'll talk to a couple of em for you and get you some details.

BB one thing I noticed now that you brought it up, I don't see any of the tellers quitting. Lot of the same guys at these sportsbooks since I moved here. Maybe they do ok.
I think the main thing you have to remember is not to talk much or give out your own info. No one wants to hear that shit.

When I first moved here, one of my mushes I loved to fade was a teller at Southpoint, guy couldn't pick a fukkin winner. Never shut the fk up either. Ppl hated him. I was nice to him but he got mad at me cuz I'd ask him what he liked then go bet the other side at the teller next to him and he caught on lol.

When I lived in Vegas my favorite play was walk into a loser sportsbook look for the fattest guy in a ripped Football Tee shirt or Jersey then go up and say "Man Im buried this week I need one play to get out I know your here a lot people say your good can you give me a game" Then after listening to a 5 minute smeel he would give me the lock I would go pound the other side. If they asked how much I bet I would show them the ticket and laugh ....I swear in the 9 yrs I live there that was like fading Brock
