Deuce does is not great and the guy has lost his shirt numerous years here in SBR during the hockey season he plays hockey so he thinks he knows the game I would be very careful backing deuces selections also guys a fat penetrate and no idea how he moves on the ice he must be slow as molasses maybe he is a water boy or a goalie

Edmonton will be much improved defensively, they brought in veteran defenseman from Bruins (Ference) to stablize the defense and now Dubnyk is clearly the #1 goalie with the fossil Khabibulin gone. Dubnyk had a 2.57 GAA and .920 save percentage last year despite facing 50 shots per game.

I'm not sure the offense improved much though, so not sure Oilers can take advantage of sometimes leaky Winnipeg defense.

you got me beat. I capped 10 games in the NHL last year and went 1-9.. Lol.. Sometimes I feel like I can't pick the winner of a one horse race.. Hockey is very hard to cap..

Taking the under 5.5 with 2 teams who gave up a ton of goals last year may not be the wisest wager on opening night. Combine this with the fact that both teams tend to score at or above league averages, and I personally don't like it. I'm not sold on the over, but I wouldn't touch the under. Good luck regardless.

from Canada too eh

can't believe Tor is dogged on opening night in the road. They usually clean up early on ..
