An educated prediction: 2-team Teaser 5 points

I don't make a habit of doing these but I am hoping that this one works out since I missed whatever is going on with Charlotte and Atlanta on the total (go to http://www.sbrodds.com/ to review the movement). I want in but not at 179 so here we are (this is a play on that total)...feedback welcomed!

Cornell -2.5 and Atlanta u184

Logic:

Cornell is one of the best when it comes to Ivy League play and they don't take their success for granted. If they weren't playing this game in NJ the line would be close to the twenties. I am getting it @ -2.5. Cornell beats Princeton every time and I am not talking about a couple of points...double double digits is par with an average of about 15. They have a tremendous offense and defense. The only thing that will ruin this play is Cornell's inability to adjust not having home court advantage.

Atlanta: I liked them at 182...the line has moved from 186 to 179...need I say more? Charlotte...great defense bad offense. Their top scorer is out. Even if Atlanta brings out their best I don't see them scoring more than 90 points tonight.

I was going to just play the NBA total but the number got crunched...so this is really a play on Cornell. If Atlanta goes OVER 182 (my capped number) I would have lost the same amount anyways. Worst case scenario is Atalanta goes under and Cornell gets upset. then I'll be pretty mad.

Not only is it horribly -EV to tease an NBA total but you had an opportunity to bet that number as well (in fact a better number than 184). You capped the total at 182 and decided to tease 179 to 184? Huh? That makes absolutely zero sense. What on Earth are you doing?

Where did I say I capped them @ 182? That's were I like the number...it's capped in the mid one seventies. 179 would have been a average to small lean. 184 brings it up two of what I would have liked.

Opps...yeah mis-spoke meant to say the number which would have triggered the play for me. Unfortunately, I do this recreationally and can't monitor these line movements continuously because of my job. Got back to the computer @ 1pm est and wham...missed out. Will probably regret pulling the trigger but we'll see. Like I said was hoping just to play Atlanta @ 182...an in my illogical way of thinking this eliminates any possibility that I am on it @ 179 with the possibility of a 180, 181, or 182 resulting in a loss because of getting a bad number but then again there is always a possibility that Cornell doesn't show up to play tonight and Atlanta goes under the current number 179.5. Convoluted thinking...I know
