Early CFB play on Kent State over Northern Illinois Saturday

I actually bought this to +10 -119, although +9 is probably still OK. Northern Illinois was the BCS Buster last year and is 4-0 this year with two wins over the Big Ten, but Kent has actually played the stronger schedule as two of their three losses were to LSU and Penn State (better Big Ten team than the two NIU beat). After those two losses, Kent dominated Western Michigan in MAC play last week, they have the running game to control the clock and they have a better defense than Huskies. Dangerous team getting this many points returning home.

Kent State was ripped by a Penn State team that lost to UCF at home. They barely got past FCS Liberty, and ripped by Bowling Green at home. Western Michigan is O-fer this season and that includes a loss to Nichols State. They are also 0-6 in theior last 6 games against Northern Illinois. To make matters worse for kent, Northern is 6-1 is the 2nd of bacck to back away games. They are 6-1 ATS after scoring 35 or more points in their last game. Northern illinois should cover easily, especially at 9.5.
