This is what I was hoping for! If the Lakers are up by 6 or more we're gonna have a shot to take the Celtics to win this game at a pick 'em.
What do you think?

I passed on a bet before this game hoping for this situation. Lakers by 6 or more at the half, we'll get the Celtics as a pick 'em or better. Who's with me?

The Lakers aren't sweeping the Celtics in the regular season, I just hope they're up at half.

Wouldnt put money on that. Lakers win tonight without Bynum in Boston, Celtics are in trouble. Not saying Celtics cant or wont win, just saying its not a bet I would feel comfortable with. But if you do decide to play the Celtics, good luck to ya.

Celtics may still do it, but now you see what I was saying. Lakers outscored them in the 2nd half. Lakers came to play. They may fade in OT because of fatigue. They played last night and had to travel.

Yes. I didn't expect Garnett to foul out. I don't remember the last time that happened.

Also, the idiotic strategy of letting Davis shoot all those jumpers.

Bynum was out too, right? At least the Celtics got to use Garnett for most the game. Lakers didnt have Bynum for any of it.

A healthy Garnett at full strength and no Bynum were the reasons I liked the Celtics. With Bynum I might of chosen the Lakers. If you don't believe me, read what I stressed in this thread:

I know what you're saying and I'm with ya. But that is exactly why I liked the Lakers anyway tonight. The Lakers showed last year they can win without Bynum. The are the deepest team in the league. Couple that with having a full off season to work in Pau Gasol and teach him the triangle and a healthy Trevor Ariza and the Lakers are still a fvcking machine. With or without Bynum. Since Bynums injury, Lakers are 3-0, all on the road.

Let me put it this way: If Garnett doesn't foul out, Celtics win. I don't think Davis would have shot one of those shots with Garnett in the game and you have to admit, Davis' shots were really the difference in the game.

And if the Lakers hit their freethrows, game never goes to overtime.

Good point. It would have been a tough game for either side to lose. You bet on Garnett to come up big, he had a big game but he fouled out, that's life.
