It's been a while since I've been this excited about the NBA. Several teams are just so strong now, I still remember when I had to watch the Western Conference teams bulldoze the New Jersey Nets in the finals every year.

Ok, this is sour grapes. I had the Lakers and the under last night. I lost of course in overtime. But, I have never seen worse game winning attempts by elite teams in crunch time as I did last night. Lakers do no call time out on their possession, no movement, and Kobe jacks up a fall away long two that barely scrapes the rim. Seven seconds left, Doc draws up the worse last shot I have ever seen by a professional team in my 30+ years of watching sporst. Only Dan Orlavsky did a worse job coming out of a time out. And don't get me started on the last shot by Ray Allen. Nearly worse since it did not touch rim. I still think the Celtics would hammer the Lakers in a series, but I not feel the Cavs could beat them both.
