aka Archie Karas, best known for his winning streak from 1992-1995.The guy supposedly took $50.00 and ran it to $40,000,000.00 and gambled it all away in 1995.Rumor has it on his hot run he owned all,If not most of a casinos 5k checks......Well apparently the guy must be running bad,he got caught marking cards, playing blackjack, and was busted with $8,000.00 of the houses money. He was picked up Tuesday in his Vegas home.....He is currently being held in Vegas with no bail, and looking at 3 years in prison....From the penthouse to the sh-thouse.

#2You wouldn't believe how this guy was living the last few years. He was living on a buddy of mine's couch for a while, had a beat up $500 30 year old car. Flat busted and used up all his help. But he's been broke for quite some time now.
True degen with a massive disease.
At one point back in the day was considered a decent poker player.
Prison will help him probably. Some ppl need a break from life.Comment -

#6Yeah the only difference was Stu would NEVER be broke. There was always someone there to stake him in a game.Originally posted by Joe DogsWow,I Didn't know that,unreal......Kinda reminds me of Stu''The Kid"Ungar, another brilliant card player,With an addictive personality.A shame, really.
This other guy didn't have as many ppl for that. But he could find a few dumbasses who saw him make that massive craps run and want to be a part of another one and dump him money.
Stu was a legend in his time, and way ahead of the game of poker. Also, obviously a massive degen and crackhead, but still a legend.Comment
