NY Giants - Will they beat Kansas City?

I got sucked into betting on the Giants game last week...after I vowed to myself not to bet on any of their games at the start of the season. Learned my lesson.

My gut says Chiefs win fairly easily...which means the Giants will probably win by 14.

Why do people post "Eli sucks" when it's his line that's failed him thru 3 weeks? The game at first glance looks like an easy choice with KC but let's face, as ferocious as KC's D has looked so far the fact of the matter is they have anything but a high octane offense with Captain Conservative Alex Smith. With all that said, I'd be more comfortable taking the under or at the least teasing the number down to KC -3. One thing to definitely note: NYG has one of the worst Olines so far this year. KC has maybe THE best front 4 on D. I see them getting after Eli all game long in this match and KC still remains one of the toughest places to play for traveling teams.

Based on recent history, it would be surprising if Manning doesn't go off today against the Chiefs. The Giants have defined parity in the NFL, which has way too much of it. Most of you are right to expect a Giant win or cover today.

IMO though, best play on the board is Jacksonville + 9

There is certainly something strange about this line. The giants look pretty bad and KC has a pretty good team this year. I would have thought the line would have been around -7, maybe -7.5. I put a unit on KC because it looks like a good bet, but I may get screwed here. We will see I guess.

special teams is good
