Le'Veon Bell Could Start for Steelers on Sunday
Rookie seems set to make his NFL debut vs. the Vikings and could provide an instant upgrade at running back. Now if only Pittsburgh has a speedy receiver to take advantage of a Minnesota secondary that made Brian Hoyer look like Tom Brady last week.....

Meh, both very good possession types that work best with a burner on the other side. Then again, that's true of most receivers. The problem is Steelers are forced to play both at same time.

Bell should help a bit, but I'm not sure if he completely answers their running woes. He'll make that Oline look better, but they are still going to struggle to run the ball and keep Ben protected.

I think Pitt is really hoping Markus Wheaton turns into Mike Wallace. He has "Mike Wallace speed," I just don't think he fits Todd Hailey's dink and dunk pass offense.

dude would have to have flying capabilities for me to think that run gm gonna get much better, i dropped him way down my fantasy draft board before he was hurt after seeing this line in the preseason (with pouncy!)...still think heath miller helps more than anything and he should see more snaps this week, think pit wins but dont really trust them and dont really like that london gm bs either but doubt minny gets a lot done offensively.

Why do you always make thread right after news breaks via Twitter or on a major network? We are all watching the same damn thing.

Probably to start a discussion on the forum.

I don't see what Bell brings to the table that the other RB on their roster don't. A lot of people acting like they'll get their run game together once a plodding rookie gets his first start. I won't be holding my breath.

I have ESPN on ZERO hours per day when there are no live game on, except for the occasional 60 for 60.

If Wheaton is as fast as everyone says he is, Haley needs a find a way to get the ball in his hands eight or 10 times a game. Obviously, no one knows if Bell is an NFL-quality running back, but having him on the field can't make the running situation any worse than it has been for three games. If Bell helps plug one of the Steelers' holes, every little bit helps.
