Gillispie will get fukkin chucked if the fans have any say. The guy is in over his head, does not know how to make adjustments, actually he is just way too stubborn to make adjustments. We have the 2 best players in the conference, so teams zone us and don't let our post man Patterson catch the ball, then have a chaser on our guard Meeks who scored 54 in that one game. They leave the other 3 kids wide open and dare them to shoot, most of the time the other bums won't shoot, but sometimes they do and obviously miss because they suck.
We are definitely not happy with him right now, whether or not he is back for a year 3 depends on a lot of things. It's never boring being a Kentucky fan though. The only good part about the struggles right now are the call in shows.

I could tell you what some of us Texas Aggies think of Gillispie, but you can probably already guess what our feelings are

Willie...Aggie and Kentucky expectations are in different worlds.
Mark Few isn't that great, they choke every year in the tournament. I want John Calipari

You want Cal why? Didn't UK already have its NCAA problems? Guy is shady and will have Memphis in hot water soon

Yeah, true. Silly Aggies expecting someone to hold true to their word and stay on when they say they're staying on.

Billy G is a great guy. Not a bad recruiter either and a solid coach. Can't see why UK would complain with him. I think they have a better shot winning it all within the next 5 with him than they did with Tubby Smith.
calipari would definitely be a step up though. maybe the single best recruiter in college hoops. not a guy i would rather have running my college basketball program than john calipari.
Get john cal to Indiana. They would win a title within 5 years and get many of the top prospects.

ummm...because they lost to those noted basketball powers Gardner-Webb last year and VMI this year?
You can talk all you want about parity, about mid-majors competing with anyone, blah, blah, blah...but you can't lose to Gardner-Webb and VMI if you want to stay at Kentucky for very long!!! Those aren't bad losses. Those are "get your ass fired" losses!
