Game's not played at nearly the speed as football and basketball. That's why when there is a bang-bang play, they struggle to get in proper position to see it and/or get the actual call right. Then a player or manager argues, gets tossed because they're "offending" the ump's fragile ego. Then the umps get to go into hiding after the game and not have to answer any questions about how they f\*\*k up a game.
