    Verizon Wireless Question
Verizon just gave me a free phone with a new 2 year agreement. My question is can I just sell the new phone on ebay and keep the old phone or due I have to activate the new phone?

The phone I got 2 years ago works fine, why not sell this one on ebay and make a free $200

Yeah, you can sell it. Verizon doesn't care what phone is assigned to that number, just that the bill is paid. If you want to sell the phone, go for it.

I just did this. Sell the new phone on craigslist. Screw ebay and their buyer friendly policies and high fees!

I was told through verizon that I need to activate (signature for 2 year agreement) the phone then I can deactivate it and can sell it, is this true?

I'm selling the phone on ebay. A potential bidder asker for my esn number, should I give it to him, can he activate my account or something else?

yeah give it to him, he is going to check w/ verizon if if CAN be activated, if it works on the verizon network. To activate it on your account he would need information off the packing slip/bill.
