i understand where veteran posters are coming from( in regards to noobs lying about records for respect, and posting "lock" on their plays) but obviously, they don't understand fully that not every noob(some are and some are not) is out to disrespect veteran posters just by posting "lock" on threads, some do it just because they are very sure in "their own opinion".

being veteran posters, you guys really shouldn't be getting upset over picks by noobs who say "lock" on threads. after all, that is a pretty clear way to distinguish along with number of post and length of time joined.

Notice to all noobs: Don't tout yourself, it will rub some posters the wrong way. Just post your picks and discuss them, but don't tout yourself as gods gift to capping. Using the word lock proves someone is a noob, do not use that word you will get little to no respect.

I don't understand why jerseykai is defending these cocky noobs. Nobody trails them except other noobs. By coming on the forum and posting one of your plays as one of your first posts can be risky. Mentioning that you were 35-4 before posting said play is just plain dumb. Telling us to "get on it now or regret it" is akin to telling me to bang Paris Hilton now before she gets HIV. Set up a spreadsheet. Post 50 plays. If you are still locked in, then start a thread. it will save you a lot of crow eating in the future.

Zboiz has been losing every single day even admitted to lying... He usually just keeps posting losers..Even got desperate and posted a 10 unit pk this week, it lost of course, yesterday posted a 1stQ parlay loser in 15 minutes of the games starting and threw inthe towel for the night. Hopefully its not him...no one responding to his posts anymore... So a name change with continued horrible pks would not be surprising..

As I stated before I will post the next 50 plays just to prove a point. I don't expect to be nailing 80% of my plays but I do expect to make some cash. You can choose to be on the outside looking in. Truth be told even if I did post my plays most of you would be in the gutter anyways because you like betting half, 2nd halfs and quaters. Making it a miracle to turn a profit because you need to go 12/20 or something crazy everyday. I will post my next pick shortly.

It means nothing unless units are attached to it. A 70% clip from playing mostly heavy chalk moneylines doesn't look so good when the person ends up being down 7 units.

Of course you could pull a Pags and grade all spread plays +100.

First, Welcome to SBR. There are some very good cappers here. I'm not one of them but they are here!

Second, as I'm sure you've figured out by now...nobody much cares what your unposted record is or was and nobody much cares for LOCKS. As any serious bettor knows, there are no locks.

When you come in as a new guy, tout an unposted record that shows you with a 89.74 winning %, start talking how your first pick is a LOCK, provide no reasoning behind your pick and that we need to get on board or regret it later...YOU CAN EXPECT TO TAKE THE HEAT WHEN YOU LOCK LOSES!!!

Livebet, it may be too much work for some, but to really be taken seriously on a record, one has to factor in the overall units won/lost. Compare it to showing a baseball pitcher's won/loss record without including the ERA. The units won/lost IS the ERA for a sports gambler. More important than percentage of wins..
