I have ordered from aquascapeonline and they are a top notch company, My 10 inch Black arrived perfect the next day, I also ordered Reds as well from them. They are packaged great and I am doing business with them in the future again. Kenco is also good for Piranhas but you are dealing with a great company I have had Piranhas for the last 20 years on and off and currently have one of the rarest Serra's in the US. I am more into the rarer breeds of them. Pm me if you ever wanna talk Ps, I am heavily into them.

Great to hear. I would of got them here but only a couple people breed them and it's a hassle to go meet them and whatnot, and they can't be sold in NY.

First time dealing with this company, they seem top notch.

They are not sold here in Ca as well but 4 of my friends have them. I am really not into the regular reds. Once you have had them for a few years you need to get a Ternetzi... You will have a blast a very aggressive P. I am more into Piranhas than I am into gambling. Piranha's are a big part of my life. Pm me ill give you my # I will tell you all about what to expect and etc etc.. also the best forum in the world for us piranha keepers is piranha-fury.com... we are the #1 forum out there...

Piranhas aren't that bad, only if you give them the live feeders (which I plan on), the scales and bits go all over. I have 2 great filters on both sides and a light amount of substrate. I don't mind a quick siphon spot check here and there.

No No! Do not feed them live feeders, that is the worst thing for them. There is a huge misconception about Piranhas. I mean to each their own ya know? For me they are not a "cool thing" to watch eat or a novelty item. At first when I started to really get into them and different species, I thought feeding them feeders would be the coolest thing, you won't have your fish long if you do that, they will eventually catch something and die. I feed my Serra Piranhas ,Krill, sunflower seeds, shrimp, and I feed my Pygo Piranha, Krill and cooked shrimp with squid.. I have been into them for so long and not into the regular Reds, if you have them for a novelty then I guess feed them live feeders but if you really get into them you will see what I mean down the road...Go to our forum and see what people feed them.. There is nothing but the best information in the world on the forum.. about what to feed them, nutrition, water, etc etc.... good luck with them... lets talk

I got an Oscar in college...Got him at Walmart at about an inch and the lady told me they stay that size. I went away to spring break and when I came back he was twice the size. I thought my roomates were messing with me. 2 tanks and 4 filters later he was a foot and a half monster. I finally had to give him away before a move. I can say I will never again get a fish tank.

Piranha's are really not what most people think. Many different species out there, the Red Bellies are fun for the beginner but soon get very boring. The Serrasalmus family are amazing. I currently have a beautiful Rhom at the office and a very timid Manuelli that is just the coolest thing on earth. I would recommend to get a Sanchezi anything in the Serra family.... .At my home in the living room, my nice Piraya Super's really make the room stand out.. Good luck on them..Soon you will see what I am talking about.. Piranha-fury.com is the best forum in the world, all the experts are on there... My next purchase is a 10 inch Gibbus sucker is gonna set me back 1.5k.. Give yourself a year or 2 with the Pygocentrus family and have fun with them then graduate to the big boys
