        Your beef is not with the people making the rules.

        Your beef is with all the people who are lawyering up against the NFL and NCAA.

        The people changing the rules are only doing what they've been forced to do to limit the financial consequences.

              hate the rule. if you think about it the defense is always "targeting" the offensive player - they need to make the tackle/hit and are deciding the best way to do so. they want to hit and cause a fumble, can't blame them for measuring the player up.

              the only thing i dont like is when a defensive player jumps to hit someone. to me that is excessive. but a regular hit even when measuring the other player is fine by me.
