Mariota 10x more of a threat than Johnny Football with the zone read.

plus he is way more accurate with his passes fitting balls into tight coverage. Johnny Football can only throw vertical routes. and Evans bails him out so many times.

speed kills. Mariota can tuck and and take off for 70 yard TD in a blink of an eye. or hand it to DAT and he can take it to the house in the blink an eye...OR he can go to Josh Huff (WR) who is an absolute burner.

if I'm an NFL team....I am taking Mariota over Johnny Football.

Oregon defense is very very good. they have one of the best D cords in the nation.

do people forget they held Cam Newton and that prolific offense in the National Championship game to under 22 points?

If I wanted Oregon I'd be tempted to nibble on any 3.5 or 4 I saw. I don't think the books will let this thing get above 3 by game time because of the ML wagers that would come in on Oregon. If you want Bama I would bet you will see a 2.5 before game time and maybe all the way down to 1.
