    Circuit City selling damaged merchandise
I bought a game from CC just a little while ago and come home. Open it , put it in the Xbox360 and the fvcker wont play. I take it out and realize the disc is ruined. it looks like someone hit it with a nail punch.
at the register the sign says "all sells final, no returns."

Heading back to the store in just a few. Fvckers are going to give me my money back or a new game.

I went there and it looked like everything was just marked up but with sale signs.

The Blu Rays were like $24.95 a pop at minimum, titles like Independence Day were $32.95 for some reason, a total and complete ripoff. I was there a few weeks prior and none of it was that expensive yet since the liquidation process began prices increased and so did "sale signs".

I can tell you (almost first hand) that many of the employees at these stores are upset and know that they are not going to be held accountable for anything. (e.g. "what are they going to do, fire me?")

Dock workers and warehouse employees are routinely damaging merchandise by dropping it on purpose, playing catch with small items, and things like that - as illustrated by your find, mmike. The deals aren't that spectacular so there is no way I'm buying a high dollar item there right now - especially with a no return clause.

If you did get something there that is broken, I imagine your only recourse would be through the manufacturer but that can be a huge pain in the ass.

well, I just back from the return trip to CC and my blood pressure hasnt sky rocketed like that in a long time.
The bitch at the counter told me they wouldnt do anything about it so I went to the HNIC and he didnt give a shit either. Basically told me tuff shit.
The attitudes of these fvcks working there is beyond belief. My blood started to boil and I let them know what I felt about them, and made sure everyone in the store heard me. I'm not the kind of person to cause a seen but this shit had me furious. I've never wanted to punch someone so bad in my life like I wanted to punch that fvcker. People in line started opening up the boxes though and checking for damage
If my son wouldnt have been with me I would have exchanged the game myself and walked out with another copy with the alarms sounding. WTF are they going to do about it, call the police. they sure as hell arent going to hold me down until the police get there.
but instead I just cussed the fvckers out and threw the game at the register as I walked out.
FVCK CIRCUIT CITY, and make sure you tell everyone you know not to buy shit from there.

I've been checking on TVs trying to find a deal. found one at CC for the 20% off that I liked so I came home to check online and could buy it fro $200 cheaper from Best Buy even with it marked down at CC.
the sale is a crock of shit

If you go to the Circuit City stores in California it looks like the Border Agents fell asleep at the job.

I'm glad that BS store went out of business. They were always higher priced. I haven't bought anything in those stores in years. Do you wonder why noone bought them out of bankruptcy.

Last semester we had a project to analyze and compare the finances and futures of Best Buy and Circuit City. CC seemed like they were hoping for a miracle to survive. Not surprised they don't give a damn about you. Have fun Canada.
