Football: Is the SEC the Tail that wags the Dog (NCAA) ?

ASSUME that all of the stories about payout$ to SEC players are true... The NCAA had 100% positive info that the top 4-5 programs were guilty

Would the NCAA have to turn a blind eye and overlook suspending them, the Schools ?

Something else to muse:

If the SEC in total voted to leave the NCAA would that be the end of the NCAA and college ball would become true semi-pro
