#183I am not playing today, that California/UCLA game last night took the heart out of me with Sonny Dykes throwing the game as I pointed out in my thread. I have absolutely no doubt about it, and the announcers of the game must have thought the same thing, since they made comments about it on several occasions. It was a huge loss for me, so today is a day to relax and get my head together for next week. Good luck to you though!
Maybe Corny can stop by and share his thoughts on this game. He is also from Texas.

#185I was just playing with you about Corny being from Texas, as I have no idea, but it is logical to assume he is from Louisiana. I forgot that I do have Seattle today on a play I made earlier in the week. They are basically unbeatable at home. I bought them down to 10. Presently on Heritage it is 11.5.Comment -

#186Well kind of figured OU wasn't going to cover with our qbs not being dynamic as before; did not expect a loss though. A&M should have been a push with the makeable fg missed in 1st half.Originally posted by Huckleberry Pig1-3 yesterday to finish the weekend 3-3. was really hoping to get either Florida or a&m. broke even on the weekend.Comment -

#188want to take Miami tonight but the line has moved against me too much. Looks like they may be double digit faves on the road before gametime. Gonna pass. Do really like the under 63 though. Think if this game stays close to the spread, it will be lower scoring. Even if it's not, I don't expect UNC to get more than low 20's in this one. Would require around 40+ from Miami. Don't think it happens. Going to take the under for a 3 unit play. If the spread keeps climbing, I may take UNC but for now it's a pass.
Pick for 10/17/2013:
Miami @ UNC Under 63 (-110) -- 3*Comment -

#190Am also adding South Carolina -7 while the line has moved back down. Think Tennessee is outmatched on both sides of the ball, esp in the trenches. Yes they played Georgia well but Georgia was already beat up and had several bad injuries mid game. Tough to play through that if you're Georgia. Think Tenner gets beat by 10+ here.

The only teams Arkansas stands a chance against are teams that can't stop the run. I would take Bama -28 this upcoming game. The older guys on this team are bad apples, granted they've been through a lot. But it's clear they give up very easily. Guess the coaching scandal and then captain smile as a coach for a year will do that to ya. They really just don't care. Need to get 2-3 good years of recruiting to get that culture changed in the locker room. Doesn't happen overnight.Comment -

#193That said, SC does have a very well balanced offense and I think that will really give Tennessee trouble. Maybe I shouldn't use the Oregon game as an example but I feel like Oregon has a lot of balance (also a lot of speed) and that really caused problems for Tennessee.
SC is not as fast as Oregon but they can run with their backfield, throw it, or run with their qb. Their play action is great. Match that up with a very solid D and I think they take care of business against Tennessee here. Tennessee kept Georgia close but they were already hobbled and got more hobbled during the game. Tough to go out and play after seeing two of your guys suffer year-ending injuries. I like SC to roll here.Comment -

#198I think LSU is getting stronger every week, and at this time are a number 3 or 4 team in the country. I have Oregon number one, Alabama number two, and Florida State or LSU number 3 and 4 or vice versa. LSU could very well win the SEC and play in the national title game against the Mighty Ducks of Oregon.Comment -

#199Jay you're right, I was on the opening lines thread LK started. My apologies. The line was 7.5 for Tenner at that time and that was just an initial lean. the more I look at it the more I liked South Carolina. Esp at a TD.Originally posted by Jayvegas420Weren't you on Tenn earlier this week?

#200Very much agree with this. LSU has definitely improved, espn on the D. I know they were playign a Florida team that struggles but watchign that game those LSU guys were swarming the ball and getting there FAST. They were a young/talented bunch at the beginning of the year but just lacked experience. Looks like they are catching on.Originally posted by UrbanwildlifeI think LSU is getting stronger every week, and at this time are a number 3 or 4 team in the country. crackin me up vinnie
And I don't live there now, moved to Dallas, but would love to move back to Fayetteville (where the University of Arkansas is located). It is located in the northwest part of the state and it's very pretty up there. You are in the "Ozark Mountains" but they are really just big hills as opposed to mountains. Lots of hiking, camping, outdoor things to do with a great lake nearby.
You also get four seasons which is nice. Summer time you go float the rivers and drink booze while takin in the scenery (actual scenery and the women lol), fall is great with football/leaves changing/camping. Winter isn't too bad. Spring is baseball time.
Not a lot of Asian women there, but their are A LOT of southern belles that I promise you are better. We get some beautiful women at that school. Ironically enough I am dating a girl taht went to USC (Southern California). But you would love the gals in Fayetteville. Summer time, short jean shorts, cowboy boots, tan, in shape. Can't beat it my friend! Now you want to stay in the northwest part of the state, you go east and you don't want any part of it! hills go away, turns super flat to farmland, women get uglier.
Sorry for rambling on, just tryin to give ya the full scoop.
Lets cash some $ tonight!

#209i think our definition of the word winter is different hahah. Fayetteville will get snow 4-6 times a year. Each time 2-6 inches, though the last few years they have had two huge storms come through and put down 12+ inches each time, but both were record setting storms, so not the norm. The snow normally doesn't stay around long though. It will warm up to the 40's or low 50's a few days after and it will all melt until the next cold front comes through. They really aren't bad but I grew up in Dallas (like I said, live here now) so I'm used to 55 in the winter haha.Originally posted by Vinnie PazThem southern girls get me goin

Avg high in the winter is prob between 45 and 55. Winter will last about 2-3 months. Come March it starts to warm up. Summers average mid 90's there.
Do get lots of sun year round thank goodnessComment -
