This NFL game tonight scares the hell out of me

Almost all my friends are drinking the KC kool-ade tonight.
Almost all the NFL junkies at work are loving KC tonight.
Now I am reading a couple of professional handicappers (not touts) are loving the Chiefs as well.

Is everybody going to get buried tonight?

I said (if you remember) KC is a dark horse this season, and could go to the AFC title game, but I am leaning Philly myself in this spot.

I don't think people fully grasp how terrible this Eagles D is. Everyone just focuses on the offense but the D has been unable to A) get pressure on the QB B) stop the run or C) cover anyone in the last 6 quarters.

Chiefs offense only scored 21 points vs Jaguars (worst team in the league) and 17 points vs Cowboys. What makes you so sure they can score 31 points on the road on a short week?

Go research when was the last time a Chiefs team scored 31 points. Maybe once in the last 10 years.

I agree with Tony. I thought The Chargers played way over their heads last week. They looked like world-beaters. If the Chiefs can't play the same tonight they have no chance. Vick gets hurt, Jackson goes down then maybe KC has a shot but barring that this is a good pick at -3.

all in the ex-con's hands. if reid recognizes any of eagles' schemes or former player mentalities that is an edge for kc. offensively though i think philadelphia will be too much for chiefs to handle (if vick plays like, well vick).

Check the scores from last year. How many games are high scoring? How many teams scored more than 24 points? I don't have the over/under closing lines for these games but I thing the vast majority were unders.

Short week affects the game plan. Less time to view film and practice multiple plays for both offense and defense.
