Now they have to be in by Sat and you get to use Wed lines?????
I always thought the hardest part was the time/information constraint.Comment -

#27I email/text my proxy every friday with my picks. Wed night if I want to play a thursday game which I avoid since lines come out wed too. Had to sign up in person along with the proxy. Paying him flat 200 for the season, will probably tip if I happen to come up in the money though.
Proxy prices vary. But alot of guys try to lock in a % if winnings from the start.Comment -

#29Last Week:
5-0: 9 entries (0.8%)
4-1: 112 entries (10.9%)
3-2: 303 entries (29.4%)
2-3: 372 entries (37.1%)
1-4: 196 entries (19%)
0-5: 41 entries (3.9%)
60/40 split in winners/losers last week.
FYI, the odds of flipping a coin 5 times and it hitting heads each time is 3.125%. Only 9 people got the "5 heads" last week.Comment -

#33Season long, only 226 out of 1033 entries have scored 5.5 or more points in the contest. 5.5 points is equal to 55%, the percentage needed to break even on -110 side bets against the house. 226 / 1033 = 21.8%. If that is a sample of NFL bettors as a whole this year so far, books have done well so far. Even if you take the overall results, its 4110-5802-403 (39.8%) or a 12.5% edge for the house so far.Originally posted by C-GoldHuge sample size there guy.Comment -
