Not going to cover when a kid shoots like that. Incredible display. He is getting mad hops on his shot. He must have had a 40 inch vertical on that last shot. I'm going to say it now, Downey is going to the next level. He is quicker than chit.

I don't care how short he is. When a guy is as fast as he is and can shoot the rock at a high pct. and can drive and dish he's going places. He's a baller, ala AI.

The problem with shorter players is that they face descending and tougher statistics. I'm no mathematician, but it's something like this:

6'8" guys: 200,000
6'0" guys: 20,000,000
5'8" guys: 40,000,000

So at 5'8" he's got to be better than 59.9 million other people in his height range. Anyways, u know what I'm saying.

I think the NBA is starting to go more and more with smaller quicker athletes. He will definitely be at a disadvantage with his height but speed kills and he's a killer with the ball in his hands. I'm going to keep watching him and will be curious to see where his stock will be. Hard to make the next level with so much great talent but something about him is special.
