That's what I'm saying.....how can this many people actually think LSU will be favored?

If LSU wins hadily against Auburn, they will be a 3 point dog at Georgia. Where you people get LSU as a favorite is totally beyond me. You folks should learn about how lines work. The lines are set way before the games, and then adjusted on Sundays. After the "openers" have been wagered on my the "high rollerw", then Joe Pub (and that is everyone in here) can wager on the newly reset lines.

Last chance to beat Georgia here before the young defense gets it together. UGA beats LSU and there's a good chance they run the table to the SEC title game.

What position does Georgia have that's as good as LSU?
QB? Maybe.... So far mettenburger is a top 5 QB this year.
RB? Don't think so
FB? Think not "JC Copeland" look him up 6'1" 280lb
WR? Jarvis Landry "Best WR in CFB" Odell Beckham jr "SEC player of the week"LOL
TE? Maybe. They haven't really used tightends this year.
I won't even talk about defense.
Y'all are slightly better than SC. LSU is light years better than they were last year on O. Go back and watch the LSU vs SC from last year. They man handled them with no offense.

I'm thinking Pick'em or Georgia -1. LSU's defense is not as great as ly but their offense more than makes up the difference. Assuming LSU's wr and qb stay healthy I like LSU to win in Athens.

LSU
Is stacked on defense. Only held back by youth, but have experienced ALL SEC players at key positions on defense.
Red shirting players is a thing of the past. Players at LSU Bama are expected to play young and leave early "NFL".
Key young players
CB Tre White 5* corner " Miles has declared him starter for auburn game" kid is the next Claiborne/Peterson.
DE Hunter 5* dude won't play as critical of a role as tre white, but only because of lsu insane d-line depth.
LB Kendal beckwith- easily the player I'm most excited about on this team. The best athlete on the field anytime he is on it.

QB health could affect the game if Mett or Murray get hurt.
This is not the case at WR. LSU is 4 deep at WR before you will notice a drop off.
RB------ they could start Terrance McGhee and you wouldn't guess that he is the 4th string RB.

So, I take it you think georgia has better RBs?
Alford Blue
Jeremy Hill
Kenny Hilliard
Terrence Magee
Which one of these guys wouldn't start for the bull dogs? Just curious?

Georgia has the better QB and RB. Aaron Murray will be a first round pick in April and Todd Gurley is the best RB in the country.

Ever heard of a guy named Gurley?
Not to mention Keith Marshall.......
Thinking LSU is going to win and predicting the opening point spread are 2 completely different things
I hope LSU wins but they will not be favored, no way

He was last year but I'm not sure now. Mettenburger has a rifle and has a couple of stud receivers to boot. If the draft was today I would take mettenburger because he is bigger and has a stronger arm. Murray is a Johnny football type great college qb and may well be a Drew Brees type very good NFL qb. Both will be working on Sundays.
LSU vs Auburn will be a good indication what LSU has in the tank. The 10 point road win at TCU was not as close as the score. LSU gives up the kickoff return for a TD and fumbles on their 4 for another, typical opener mistakes. This will be the first game to guage if they have what it takes to win in Athens. I took LSU -17. I think they have a lot in the tank.

Two of them would be 3rd string at best, while 2 others would likely be kicked off the team.

Nobody is denying LSU is a good team with a lot of NFL caliber players on it, but they did just lose nearly their entire defense to graduation and the NFL. Georgia's offense is going to test them.
TCU isn't that great. Let's see how they fair against someone besides TCU, UAB, and Kent State before we crown them.

LSU is always young on D. That's been life at LSU for John Chavis
Has his defenses been good in the past?

Think about 3 years ago when they had
Freshman
Eric Reid
Tharold Simon
Tyrann Matthieu
All playing in the secondary.
John Chavis has shown time after time his defense regardless of age or experience is going to dominate.
