Without Bynum they are way too soft and do not play D, they are a glorified old school Denver Nuggets type team. Kobe has to play perfect to beat the good teams. There is no intimidating presence in the middle and opposing players can take to the hole, poor rebounding also. Laks overachieved last year so do not get caught up in that trap.

#3Injury update says he will be out 8-12 weeks. He is young and his body can recoup quicker than most. Very possible he's back in 8 weeks. That would be before the playoffs started. Even if he was out the entire 12 weeks, he would be back by the 2nd round. The Lakers will be fine with or without him. But I think he'll be back for the playoffs regardless.Comment -

#6They had also won 6 outta their last 7 going into the Laker game. Knicks are not the big slouch that everyone thinks. D'Antoni has done a great job. Especially since they traded their top 2 scorers earlier in the season.Comment -

#8Bynum will be rusty and not the same player until next year. The guy is injury prone also and now they might lose home ct advantage, watch out for the Spurs.Comment -

#9Spurs have alot of wins at the buzzer. Look at the game last night. I am not sold on them being a dominant team. Lets see what happens tonight in Denver. If they can go there on the tail end of a back to back and take out the Nuggets that would be strong.Comment -

Watchout for the Billups led Nuggets, vastly improved over last year. The trade for Iverson was great for the Nuggets and did the Pistons in for years. By the time Stuckey reaches his prime, all the other Pistons players will be way past theirs. Stuckey is not nearly the court leader Billups is. With a new coach why the hell would they trade their all star PG for a no defense playing, over the hill ballhog?Comment -

#16Denver is alot more equipped to take the Lakers out than San Antonio. They match up better. But still, the Lakers are the deepest team in the NBA, even without Bynum. They are way ahead of the 2nd best team in the West. As far as home court goes, the Lakers are the one team in the West who doesnt need it. They can beat San Antonio, Utah, Denver ect....on the road. Would not shock me if the Spurs got home court, the Lakers win game 1 in San Antonio. They are that deep.Comment -

All teams have good wins and bad losses. Denver has all the pieces now with Billups.
They are 4th in the NBA in FG defense, 6th in FG offense. They are also 9th in the league in 3 point defense. They now have defense to go with their awesome offense. Denver will be a force to reckon with come playoffs, watch and learn.Comment -
