FWIW, I have a friend who was single for a while and tried eHarmony. He found it to be really bad. Basically, everything is ridiculously drawn out.. totally consumes your time and money with nothing to show for it. Anyway, 1 person is a small sample size. But he had *far* better luck speed dating-- found it to be way more efficient. Spending 5 minutes talking to a person in real life is going to give you a way better idea of whether you are a match than months of sending messages to each other through some website.

Here's my advice: Forget the online stuff. What you need is someone to guide you and to teach you about women - how they feel, think, act, etc.

Read books by Dave Deangelo. He will be a good start for you to build your own tools. Another motivator you should look up is guy named Mystery, who's game revolves around pick-up, but once you study his material, you should be able to develop abilities beyond the pick-up.

Mystery's television show was one of the strangest things I've ever seen. There was a marathon of it on VH1 about a year ago, and I watched most of it. Don't know if that stuff works, but watching guys try to use it is pretty damn funny.
