Team B: 3 10-win seasons, 5 losing seasons, 5 playoff appearances (0 - 5 record in the playoffs during this stretch, 0 super bowl berths)

Which team has had a better 12 year run?

you play the game to win....and to win the big one....

so obviously A has had the better run, they put themselves in position to achieve the one goal that all 32 teams have at the beginning of the year.

Team B, might have been a team with more talent (such as Dallas that someone mentioned) that public perception says is a good team.... they might be close to the playoffs more often and have more winning seasons... but 9-7 seasons with no playoff berth and 10-6 seasons when you lose the first playoff game, do not get the job done

Of course they are, they are always dubbed the "most talented" team, but they have no character. A team with TO cannot win. Getting rid of him would be the first step.

People are obviously going to be biased towards recent results in a question like Oakland vs Denver, so the results are unsurprising. If you had asked this 3 years ago about the previous 7 years, everyone wouldve gone with Oakland.

Needless to say, no team in football has been as bad as the Oakland Raiders have been consistently for the last 6 years.

Its just laughable that in another thread here on SBR today about next year's SB odds, the Cowboys are, as usual, right near the top.
