I'd probably say Doak Campbell Stadium @ FSU. Though USC, Tennessee, Auburn aren't what they use to be.

#4A&M. Look at all their home losses over the last few years. Same with Texas - quietest 100,000 fans in the country.Comment -

#8Nebraska......stadium holds a lot of people sure, but a good portion of 'em are elderly folk who don't care much for makin' a racket or god forbid, standing up. Every once in a while the stadium gets loud and rockin, but it has to be the perfect storm of circumstances to rouse the fans into being a factor.Comment -

#11USC.
Disclaimer: I've only ever been to one NCAAF game, when I was on holiday last year.
Went to the Colosseum. Fans didn't seem too fussed about the game. Most of those that I met before the game were much more interested in the day of partying than the game. Maybe it was just because USC were so damn bad last season. Fun fans though!Comment -

#18Worst Home Teams ATS
We checked our Bet Labs software and it shows that Notre Dame and Michigan St. are 2 of the 3 worst home teams ATS since 2005, suggesting that they underperform at home according to oddsmakers.Comment -

#20when I've looked at home vs. road power ratings, it really really jumps around season to season.... one that looks good most years is Wisconsin. but a lot of other teams all over the place..... would love a site that does HFA to automatically do 5 year ranking, instead of me having to copy 5 years worth of stuff to excelComment -

#23LSU and their "Death Valley", been there for game and it wasn't a big deal. Now maybe for a night game it's better, but aren't all night games much better?
Been to FSU also, it's ok, just not super loud, lots of $$$ in the crowd (old peeps) and lots of drunk students.
Arkansas, not really that loud in Fayetteville, but in Little Rock, when LSU plays it can get much louder, with smaller crowd due to the way the stadium is.
The real deal for NFL and college would be the Seahawks Qwest Field which is so loud it's unreal (Been there, my head was hurting, it's so loud), and the Saints are also loud, been to a few games there, and from reading a report, the decibel level during the Oregon Ducks games are insane.Comment -

i see predictionmachine has updated their study from the last couple of years. as i've said before this stuff jumps around and doesn't always show up in the stats. sometimes shows the opposite (alabama is far, far better power ratings team on road especially after giving them 6 points for the differential..... not sure road alabama wouldn't be favoured over home alabama based on power ratings and it's been like that for awhile.
prediction machine top 5
okla (gonna look closely at this one)
ucla (very surprised. way off campus and usually not near full)
wisconsin (always shows up in my work)
houston (never noticed this one before)
hawaii (used to be huge HFA but i didn't think so much anymore.... wondering though if their recent horridness has been mostly road)
prediction machine - big teams in the bottom 15 HFA
FSU
alabama
texas
stanford (makes sense. not the best attendance. scrappy team that wins close games)
louisville
not sure about this but i think lsu, michigan have moved off the bottom
wisconsin and cal are 2 teams that consistently show up as big HFA (maybe terrible road teams) in my work....Comment
