Each of Arizona's first quarter drives had drive killing penalties, with the exception of one drive where they converted their 17yard hole or whatever the distance was.

Let me state that while for the most part, other than a couple of wishy washy personal fouls (real real arbitrary roughing passer in particular), the calls were legit, but they simply chose to over-flag Arizona while turning a blind eye to Pittsburgh.

Offensive holding was called way too much for being a Super Bowl game, and with the exception of some makeup 4th Q calls it was really lopsided in favor of Pittsburgh.

That said, Arizona had a chance to win the game and all they had to do was come up with a final defensive stop, although I'm not sold Big Ben wouldn't have chucked it up 50yds and been given a defensive pass interference call for FG range anyway.

The fact here is the younger team made dumb mistakes and got called on it (only call I disagreed with was the pass interference you referred to) and the experienced steelers team stepped up and stayed under control it was an amazing game top 3 sb all time and for anyone to try to take away from the Steelers victory or the greatness of that game is just jealous or blind

3 of those penalties went for 45 yds on 1 drive against arizona when they just made mental mistakes the pass interference could of went either way although I think it was wishy wash but had they not got out of control that one drive your looking at pitt 7 for 57 and arz 8 for 61 then nobody would be saying jack shit, and may I remind you that drive only ended in a fg and pitt won by 4 pts not 3 so get off it

its in the books...calm down...PITT won

you're getting all riled up like you have a over in baseball that needs 2 runs in the 9th

that being said...if you cant admit the refs ALWAYS favor PITT...then you my friend...might be losing some of your marbles

Big Ben bailed out Tomlin...who is a horrible coach...who almost choked it up by trying to run the clock out

Big Ben bailed out the city of PITT...as losing to ARI would have sent their franchise into the 'PITTS'

Big Ben is PITT....they might as well give him a percentage of ownership

Refs always tend to favor the better teams and look more closely at weaker opponents because weaker teams commit more penalties as a rule, like I said I disagredd with the one call but as a whole I think it was well officiated the NFL has horrible refs and they make many game changing mistakes I just don't think there were any game changing bad calls here
