The unemployment rate is 10% which is very close to the amount of people who play FF.

the hype of fantasy football is ridiculous. People out their that watch every game on multiple screens due to fantasy football. Every single person that watches football must be playing it. Had a college professor back in the day that was big on Fantasy Baseball. Guy would go on fantasy baseball camps and used to swear it was all worth it saying he used to make a ton of money from it. Of course now everyone is a fantasy expert regardless of what the sport with all the information available out their and its very difficult to have an edge in fantasy sports.

I just like the idea of rooting for a side or total more than individual players on multiple teams.
Even if money were involved, I couldn't see myself playing in a fantasy league.
Feels weird. Doesn't suit a socially inept person well.

Totally agree. More about luck than skill. People who talk at FF on Saturday night at the bar are losers.

About 15 years ago people used to draft soooooooo stupid. Now with all the magazines and websites, and pre populated rankings there is a lot less parity.
People who talk fantasy football at work etc. So should I start Chris Johnson vs the Seahawks or should I start Ahmad Bradshaw against the Jaguars. I need to win.
Me: How much money do you win if you win your game or league?

I'm pretty much on your side with that, but there are people, especially the women who play, get off more on the trash talking then the cash.

So what you're telling me is that my girlfriend is 1 in 6 million. I always told her she was 1 in a million. Guess I sold her short.
And Giant part of me being cursed with a good memory is me remembering that you once typed in poker chat that you don't play fantasy sports. Guess you've grown up.

You are like an elephant with that memory.
I just started playing, it was kind of by accident. It was while signing up for BTP, we had to register at Draft Kings. Prior to that, I didn't even realize daily fantasy games existed. Pretty addicting stuff, and legal. Got to love our governments' hypocrisies.

I wish I didn't know about it today. I'm playing a heads-up game, and my opponent stacked his lineup with the Washington Nationals. They've already got three homeruns in the first three innings. Game over early.

We'll never get it, JJ.
They have the friends and women to make up a league, unlike us, JJ.
I guess that makes it fun or something? Doing it with friends?
I don't know and never will, because my avoidance and self-esteem issues prevent me from making friends or getting anywhere close to anyone.
Having friends and a social life sounds like an awesome experience, but taking part in a fantasy league does not. I suppose, though, if you were in a league with a group of friends and/or your significant other, it would make it more exciting.
Hard to really know what's it's truly like when you have never gone through that experience.

I won't play in stack leagues. Three or less of the same team, or I don't play.
Stackers are lazy, and it's not real fantasy.
