#39good topic no coincidence and i want to share a quote i just came up with while blazing a bowl...
"the defintion of learning, is not making the same mistakes"
let me tell you what that means for me. I am no longer a fukkin action junkie. I put the work in and fire away when i see right the opportunity. No more forcing plays just so i can get some action.Comment -

#44Kraker I predict this is part of the 25% of your posts that you regret making. You can't hate on people for not having the mental acuity and depth that you might...especially on a gambling forum where the mass, as a whole, is a bafoon.
People follow their own path and are on different wavelengths. If that quote resonated and helped that poster then good. He chose to share it. You might be above it but the masses (bafoons) are likely not.
If everyone was on deep, introverted, high level wavelength then there would be nobody to shine your shoes.....check out your groceries....park your car....and process your cashouts.Comment -

#45I regret closer to 1%, sadly. If I had more self-respect Id probably regret closer to 25%.
If I had a do over, I might not have posted it. Maybe because it can be perceived as arrogant, pompous and condescending. Really I was playing off of my own past experiences with the bowl and how deep and profound my thought processes were. Everything was deep back then. everything had meaning. I had it all figured out. I know the feeling. I miss the meaning. Whether it was real or not, didn't matter because it felt real.
And somewhere there's a group of rich, wealthy men saying "if there weren't nurses, who'd wipe our asses when we get older".
I knows my role Taddy. No better, no worse. We all just wanna be happy.
BigBear may shine my shoes and I may wipe your ass. All means to an end.Comment -

Cross between bad ass and buffoon?
We have a good number of the latter, not too sure about the bad ass part.Comment -
