Smoke had the right idea to fade the public, especially in Week 1. Square plays lose big in NFL. I bet the books made a killing today on all the parlays that had New England, Tampa Bay, Indy, Cleveland and Pittsburgh in them.

Some of the "obvious" plays hurt the public like Tampa Bay, Indy and NE. Throw in teaser killers like Pitt, Indy and NE as well as some key unders and you have to think the books are sitting good going into the night game.

I noticed in BTP more picked Tenn. But the 6 point line probably sucked in a bunch of losing teaser action. I didn't see any of that game but saw Ben's pass stats and it wasn't terrible. Pretty amazing they couldn't score.
