Why cant people accept defeat

i have been betting for about 6 years on sport and horse raceing and when some one loose's they allways have an excuse
eg
the game was rigged
to loosing team lost the game not
ref was on the winning teams side
i was going to back the winning team but changed my mind

why cant someone that loose's accept that they backed the wrong selection

i keep hearing people say the ref are on pittsburghs side omg its the biggest sporting event in the world you clowns

if you are big enough to gloat when you win
then be a big enough man to accept defeat
