Don't write Federer off just yet.

For you old school Tennis fans, we have seen this before.

Ivan Lendl had a reputation for going in the tank----one time in Europe during an exhibition with McEnroe, Mac got so pissed off at him for quitting--that McEnroe launched a ball at Lendl's noggin from a few feet away.

McEnroe owned Lendl-----until Lendl beat him in Stutgart in 82, and then came back and beat Mac in Paris.

Lendl kept losing Grand Slam finals. Including his first five.

Then he changed the way he played. Adding topspin to his backhand, and moving inside the baseline on his return of serve.

He went on to win 8 grand slams.

There are other examples, Agassi lost his game when Sampras started to beat him. Then Agassi returned stronger than ever, and lasted longer than Pete did.

Federer will win again. For cripes sake, if it weren't for Rafa playing so well, Federer would have 20 Grand Slams this morning.

Their rivalry may actually save Tennis.
