OP is a lot like me and many other young gamblers ... except his parents actually care about his well-being. He should cherish that.

We wouldn't even bother with this gambling shit if a woman would look at us twice and not find us extremely disgusting. Have to pass time somehow if you are socially inept.

We just want a hug or a friend or something. We need someone to talk with and hang out with, but instead we've been isolated for various reasons.

Confidence is shattered. We hate who we are, but we don't see the point in changing when no one will give a fukk either way.

No hope to find a quality woman. We're just floating aimlessly toward death, as we do not feel devastated or depressed enough to commit suicide. Plus, we're cowards.

OP, I gave up completely before I even finished college. I really don't care if and when I die, because it won't affect anyone. I won't even have to bother drawing up a will or figuring out pre-death funeral plans. I'm guessing someone will find my dead corpse alone in my apartment one of these days, but who knows how many weeks will pass before someone finally tries to find out WTF happened to me.

I guess what I'm saying is, live on the edge if no one cares about you but yourself. No point in holding back when the worst-case scenario is you dying and everyone carrying on with their life as if nothing happened.

Isolation carries a unique feeling of freedom with it, but it certainly isn't the type of freedom so many have died for in brutal wars. If anyone fought a war for the right to live this lonely, pathetic type of existence, they would have been wasting a lot of time, effort and lives.

go get psychological help because you need it. If you gamble because your isolated and socially inept your only making things worse for yourself. I can't imagine what you will be like 5 years down the road with this mindset. If you have a college degree you must have a decent job as well, can't be that difficult to meet a girl and eventually settle down and have a family.

You need to stop drinking, gambling, and using drugs. Check yourself into rehab if you have to.

once you kick the addictions you can start focusing on healthy eating and exercise. Watch the movie "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead."
