SBR players talk proposed rule

can we just make a rule that if you post a

"ALL IN" thread

or "LOCK" or anything like it thread, and you pick loses you get an IP and username ban for a day or maybe a week?

if people are gonna post these incessantly let them at least realize there is somthing else at stake. because apparently people don't mind posting up and re-upping with books weekly around here

I think most people understand that to find the better and more serious handicappers you go to the subforums.

but there is not enough ATTENTION in the subforums for most player's talk regs. They want to hit the BIG TIME and post their plays for the most people to see.

I think Tsoprano would have a hard time not posting his plays in the player's talk area. I like to post my strongest plays here, with a writeup

They will have to learn to search the Handicapping forums for plays then. If they see the PT area is not the place, then they will click through the forum to find the plays.

LOL...you hit it on the head. I mean for **** sake...we have a mod that built a whole subforum just for tennis and yet still posts all (or at least the majority) of his tennis plays in Players Talk.

player's talk regs is a clique that alot of newbs try to get "in" with and show off in one way or another. and being seen as a great capper is just one of the ways.

Starting BS threads is another, posting vids is another (my preferred attn hogging method), all in plays is Patty's ect ect

Worst thing SBR did was enable the function that makes a thread show up in 2 forums, i.e. someone's plays basketball plays appearing in the NBA forum and Players Talk. Hate that shit.

Probably 90% of the Players Talk regulars have signed up in the last six months or so.

Believe it or not, Players Talk used to be readable.
