IMHO, it happened to Pittsburgh twice in the playoffs last year. A lot of people were scratching their heads when they were -3 at Cincinnati in the first round. Then, how could Pittsburgh, a wild card team, be -4 in the Superbowl against a dominant #1 seeded Seattle team?

Similarly, I can't figure out why Spain is a three point favorite against Argentina in the semifinals of the basketball world championship. I was considering betting on Argentina but I always get nervous when it seems like the wrong team is favored.

No, but Pitt should have been favored in the Superbowl. I agree that Argentinashould win that game.

Linesmakers for the most part know what they are doing and are usually close to the number. The games that you think look like locks because of a wrong line are called TRAPS. Some traps win but I think more lose.

I like Arg here too but be careful , Spain just might blow them out.
