Felix Jones is the Pittsburgh Steelers starting Running Back
Surprising development there when it was assumed Redman and Stephens-Howling were the main contenders. Fantasy Football owners act accordingly.

He'll be hurt by week 4

    He's a 8 touch type back...

Lost most of his explosiveness also

Don't shoot the messenger. Le'Veon Bell could be back sooner than expected anyway.

Tue, Sep 3Isaac Redman confirmed he -- and not Felix Jones -- is practicing as the Steelers' first-team tailback this week.
Advice: A previous report indicated Jones would get the start, but he'd be lucky to see eight carries against the Titans. "I go out there with the first team, do the first four reps, that's normally what the starter does," said Redman following Monday's practice. "I'm just preparing as I'm the starter until they tell me otherwise." Redman hopes to receive "20, 25 carries" in Week 1, although that still seems like a pretty big long shot.

Well the reports of Jones starting obviously existed (Advice: A previous report indicated Jones would get the start), but it appears Kahn's post was later in the day, so somebody be lying.

                    I was looking at footballguys:

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Felix Jones is expected to start Week 1. He likely vaulted ahead of RBs Isaac Redman and LaRod Stephens-Howling with 14 carries for 56 yards in the final preseason game.

Everything I've read and heard lately is saying Redman is the starter.
Coach Mike Tomlin confirmed Isaac Redman will start Sunday's game against the Titans.
Advice: "We know what Isaac is capable of," Tomlin said Tuesday. The coach went on to say that he'll "obviously" spell Redman with LaRod Stephens-Howling and Felix Jones. Considering Redman averaged just 3.72 YPC last year and couldn't separate from Jonathan Dwyer (who was cut Saturday), fantasy owners need to keep expectations in check. No one should be desperate enough at the FLEX spot already that they need to use a talent deficient plug-and-play like Redman.

hey no worries LT, I think especially because its week 1 every source wants to have the most updated, new breaking news item...I love rotoworld but am always looking around to other places as well. I have redman on both my teams...not really too excited about it, but in the event that Bell doesn't pan out (after all, it is an unproven rookie with a lisfranc injury) I might have a nice shot at a starting RB

Doesn't matter who starts for Steelers, they have a losing season this year. If Felix Jones is your savior, then death in imminent.
